Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Port Canaveral, FL

I would like to give a "shout out" to the front desk person by the name of Jewel. She was precious, extremely nice and very patient with my family. She was a good listener and any questions that I had she answered them quickly. The entire front desk staff was very helpful. If we needed anything for the room, the request was taken care of promptly. The only issue I have was with a housekeeper staff member who told my husband that she didn't understand English as he had gotten slightly confused. That was not necessary and definitely not helpful to him. I did not appreciate that at all.

My son & I had driven up that day from Key West and were glad to finally arrive at our destination for one night - the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson. We parked for free in the ample car park in front of this establishment. Check in was done quickly and easily with a gentleman who immediately made us feel welcome. As the room wasn't quite ready for us he offered us a couple of bottles of chilled water. My son quickly found the free cookies at reception. Delicious. Anyway, we didn't have to wait long to get established in our room on the 4th floor with all the usual amenities of such a chain. It had everything we needed for a short one night stay. Two comfortable queen beds, desk & chair, bathroom with shower in the bath tub, coffee and tea making, microwave fridge, enough sockets for all our electrical equipment and a good quality free WiFi. We didn't try out the outside pool - it rained the evening we arrived and we didn't have enough time the next morning. Pity. What I appreciated was the helpfulness of the guy at reception. He gave us good suggestions on where to eat for dinner. Location? Not bad for getting to the Kennedy Space Center (sic) the next morning. All in all, a nice stopover on our busy schedule of motoring up the east coast of the USA!

It was very clean, beds were comfortable and it was close to the terminals.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The extended stay 1-bedroom suite was large and comfortable with lots of natural light and a view toward the cruise ships. The location was perfect for a one-night stay before a cruise. We could have stayed much longer in this suite because it has a kitchenette and living/dining area that is separate from the bedroom which has a king bed. I have never seen a suite with so many seating options. There were 2 chairs and a love seat, plus a desk with a very nice office chair, and a table with seating for 4 in the living/dining area. The bedroom also had a comfortable chair with ottoman. We did not have time to watch TV, but there are large flat-screen TVs in both the bedroom and the living area. It appears the property has up-to-date furnishing and decor. Everything was in pretty good condition. The breakfast was also very good. Check-in and check-out were efficient and quick. We would definitely return.

Our room had a great view to cruise liners. All necessary appliances were there. Clean and tidy. Big parking lot - we stayed only one night, so could park for free. Most people use the hotel to go for a cruise.
